17.05.2016 Erialane vestlus (2x2), Andmebaasisüsteemide alused (2x2)

Erialasel vestlusel kontrolliti blogisid, wiki lehti ja uuriti, mida ma olen viimase 5 nädalaga õppinud. Andmebaasisüsteemide aluste tunnis me tegime erinevaid teste.

 Tulemused on järgmised:

Career Advancement

Motivation : 73/100

You're usually setting goals, thinking ahead, and taking steps to get you where you want to go in your career. You aren't content to settle for the level of success you currently have, but you do possess a fair amount of motivation to go further.

Career Motivation Test

Financial reward motivation : 40/100

People motivated by Financial Reward strive for the big pay-off that comes as the fruit of their labor. They want to feel that their salary and benefits equal the value of the time and energy they invest in their work. While this is a common motivator that most people identify with (who wants to work for peanuts?), these individuals place more importance on remuneration than the average worker. This is not to say they are only after the big bucks; it's having the money to afford a certain lifestyle that gives them the drive to succeed. They are willing to invest themselves, but will not do so without significant pay-off. They don't necessarily have to make an extremely high salary in the short-term to feel happy, especially when starting out, but they want to see the long-term reward for the personal investment they put into their career.

Creative Problem-Solving

Openness to Creativity : 84/100

Your responses indicate that you love to let your imagination run wild when problem-solving. You seem to realize that, while rules and conventions have their place in the process, they can be restrictive when coming up with innovative solutions. Therefore, although you may not immediately reject solutions that have worked in the past, you’d rather not have them be your only option. People who score similarly to you are “out-of-the-box” thinkers who like to toy with different ideas, pushing beyond the boundaries of standard ways of thinking and doing things. They aren’t opposed to taking risks or testing solutions that are “off-the-wall” or that don’t have a proven track record. Although there’s generally nothing wrong with taking a more practical approach to problems (and in some cases, it may be the best option), using it as the only method does impose some limitations. By taking that step outside your standard way of thinking and expanding your imagination, you’ll not only be able to increase your options but may end up uncovering ideas that had never crossed your mind before!

What Type of Smart Are You?

Interpersonal : 87/100

Interpersonal intelligence is the capacity to understand and interact effectively with others. This intelligence involves the ability to discern the moods, temperaments, dispositions, motivations, and desires of other people and respond appropriately. This is the "people-person" intelligence. It is evident in successful teachers, social workers, actors, or politicians, and operates primarily through person-to-person relationships and communication. It involves skills such as effective communication, working together with others towards a common goal, and noticing distinctions among individuals. If one has high interpersonal intelligence, he or she is probably popular and has many friends. As a child, it is likely that Interpersonal people were often the leader of a group and were able to organize and influence peers with skill. Their talent for interpreting and understanding the feelings of others makes them a good mediator and a potential earpiece for many of their friends. They learn best when involved in team activities and cooperative ventures.

Memory Test

Overall result : 91/100

Your results indicate that you have very little difficulty remembering things. When it comes to absorbing information or recalling details, it appears as though you have quite a few sponge-like qualities. Keep in mind however, that like many cognitive functions, memory does tend to deteriorate with age. The good news is that there are a number of techniques that can be used to improve memory recall, including mnemonic devices (e.g. using a rhyme to recall State capitals), or making visual associations (e.g. remembering your client Scarlet Jones' name by picturing her driving a red car). Of course, writing things down couldn't hurt either! Although factors such as fatigue, stress or poor diet can play a role in poor recall, other, more serious causes of forgetfulness include tumors, medication side effects, Depression, and Alzheimer's Disease.

What kind of learner are you?

Tactile

If you are a tactile learner, you learn by touching and doing. You understand and remember things through physical movement. You are a "hands-on" learner who prefers to touch, move, build, or draw what you learn, and you tend to learn better when some type of physical activity is involved. You need to be active and take frequent breaks, you often speak with your hands and with gestures, and you may have difficulty sitting still.
As a tactile learner, you like to take things apart and put things together, and you tend to find reasons to tinker or move around when you become bored. You may be very well coordinated and have good athletic ability. You can easily remember things that were done but may have difficulty remembering what you saw or heard in the process. You often communicate by touching, and you appreciate physically expressed forms of encouragement, such as a pat on the back.
Here are some things that tactile learners like you can do to learn better:
  • Participate in activities that involve touching, building, moving, or drawing.
  • Do lots of hands-on activities like completing art projects, taking walks, or acting out stories.
  • It's OK to chew gum, walk around, or rock in a chair while reading or studying.
  • Use flashcards and arrange them in groups to show relationships between ideas.
  • Trace words with your finger to learn spelling (finger spelling).
  • Take frequent breaks during reading or studying periods (frequent, but not long).
  • It's OK to tap a pencil, shake your foot, or hold on to something while learning.
  • Use a computer to reinforce learning through the sense of touch.
Remember that you learn best by doing, not just by reading, seeing, or hearing.
